随着人工智能的快速发展,北美人工智能教育发展呈现新的趋势:美国和加拿大高校培养出越来越多的人工智能人才,产业界吸纳人工智能人才能力显著增强,计算机科学、计算机工程和信息技术专业教师队伍规模持续扩大,私立大学和公立大学计算机科学系外部研究资金的差距呈扩大趋势,美国在基础教育阶段愈发重视人工智能教育。北美发展人工智能教育的经验为:政府积极引导学校发展人工智能教育,政产学研深度融合,各级各类学校积极创新人工智能教育培养模式,政府高度重视人工智能教育的教师队伍建设。对我国的启示:政府应做好顶层设计,引导学校发展人工智能教育;学校应大力加强人工智能教育,提升师生的人工智能素养;政产学研用一体化发展人工智能教育。
Abstract:With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, a new trend is emerging in the AI education in the Northern America. Universities in the USA and Canada are cultivating more and more AI talents; the industrial sector is absorbing more and more AI talents; the number of professional teachers in computer science, computer engineering and information technology is increasing; the gap in external research funding in computer science departments between private and public universities is widening; the United States has increasingly emphasized its AI education at the basic education level.The Northern America' experience in developing AI education can be summarized as follows.i.e.government guidance, deep integration among government, industry, academia, and research, creation of innovative cultivation models in schools at various levels and the development of the teaching faculty.The implications for China's AI education include top-level designs of the government and its guidance for AI education, the enhancement of the AI literacy of both teachers and students, and deep integration among government, industry, academia, research, and application to develop AI education.
